Tebow’s Status

Gainesville, Fla. — University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow was released from University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Sunday morning after being held overnight for precautionary reasons.

“Tim is doing fine this morning,” said head coach Urban Meyer. “His CT scans came back and indicated that Tim suffered a concussion. Our medical and athletic training staff will continue to monitor him to determine how much rest and recovery he needs. We will have additional information and updates this week.”

  1. Tim is one tough football player. Way to hang in there Tim. Our prayers are with you for a swift recovery. HC

  2. Who knows what that hit would have done to a normal football player. Thank goodness Tim didn’t break that guy’s leg… lol

  3. dang right yall gonna need tebow against lsu. urban myer aint nothing with tebow. if urban was any kind of coach, tebow would have been on the sidelines instead of still playing that game. 30?-7, third quarter, and tebow has the flu. he had no business still being on the field. urban myer is just a sorry coach. yall going to get that butt spanked next year. enjoy it while you can urban myer. you wont be able to run the score up next year. urban myer stinks.

(ed. note – We will occassionally let in a comment or two from the misguided…)

  4. so glad to hear that tim is going to be fine.

have off a week so that all the players can get well.
you all need to keep up the good work. go gators.

  5. Bull Dawg remember that this is GATORFOOTBALL.COM. That said, you wish you had a coach as sorry as Urban Meyer. And even when your coach has a great quarterback (ie… Matt Stafford), he can’t do anything. and yes, we will enjoy it. as for you, go ahead… Wait till next year… and the next year… and the next year.

  6. Tim, We all know God was watching over you and he will allways will… my love to u and your family . Rest and get well . dont listen to all the neg stuff. Urban myers u are a great coach you did what u thought was the best for the team and we love u for that .

  7. So glad Tebow is getting better. I have to agree, anyone on the team that was sick should not have be playing. Their health is much more important than a game. Hope they make sure he truly is ready for LSU. As for all the sorry fans from other teams they are just sore sports that the GATORS rule. GO GATORS I will be a fan no matter who is playing. I bleed orange and blue.
    Love you guys

  8. thank God for tim tebow. He will come back with a vengence and finish the job UGA started

  9. Y’ALL PEOPLE NEED TO QUIT HATING. URBAN MEYER IS A GREAT COACH AND THAT”S WHY HE HAS TWO RINGS. TEBOW STRAIGHT CAME IN THE LSU GAME AND MURKED EM. GET SOME, HATERS

  10. NONE OF THE SEC CAN SEE THE GATORS. ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT HATE ON COACH MEYER, Y’ALL CAN GET ON THE FIELD AND COACH THE GAME. GUARANTEE YOU WONT GET TWO RINGS IN THREE YEARS. I LOVE HATERS, THEY’RE JUST SUCH GOOD MOTIVATION.
